[Lover of Books’]
There was a woman in despair.
The hunger made her poorer.
Please,
she begged.
It was almost over.
She knew
though.
Once she did have him in her hands
with the trembling grip of a starving predator.
She wasn't the only one for him.
Her lover shared and fed others, too,
like rain to its land.
The shameless mistress
made love with him before her eyes and
every time it was new and different.
She never knew anything like it made before
by any two.
She cried ruby ocean
and it brought the hottest setting sun
into her lonely garden.
